Our monthly program is under the guidance of Irma Goodman, a drama teacher for
many years, who has run drama workshops internationally. For our January film she has
chosen Off the Map.
Across the ancient high desert landscape of New Mexico, an extraordinary family
embarks on a lyrical journey of self-discovery that reveals unexpected moments of
grace and the unpredictable but enduring nature of love. Starring Joan Allen and Sam
Elliott and directed by Scott Campbell.

A new afternoon program for the cold winter months. Join us for afternoon tea, meet old
and new friends and then watch a matinée movie.
This month we are showing the Academy Award winning musical "Man of La Mancha",
starring Peter O'Toole as Don Quixote and Sophia Loren as Dulcinea. Don Quixote is
the chivalrous knight who wishes to see life as it should be, not as it is. He battles
imaginary foes and pursues the beautiful Dulcinea. The wonderful musical score
includes the well-known and beloved song "The Impossible Dream" as well as many others.
